We respect intellectual property rights and expect users of perfect day to do the same. This policy explains what we own, what you own, and how to report material you believe infringes your rights.
The perfect day name, logo, wordmark, visual design, user interface, source code, written content, audio, the orb and its motion, and the Poppy companion are the property of Mariya Shcherbyna, operating as perfect day, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to our Terms of Use. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, sell, or create derivative works from any part of perfect day without our written permission.
You keep ownership of the content you create in the app, including your journal entries, quiz answers, the scripts generated for you, and any voice recording you make. You are responsible for making sure the content you submit does not infringe anyone else's rights. You grant us only the limited license needed to run the service for you, as described in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it to train AI models.
"perfect day", the perfect day logo, and "Poppy" are trademarks of Mariya Shcherbyna. You may not use them without our prior written permission, and you may not use them in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation that does not exist. Other names and logos in the app may be trademarks of their respective owners.
If you believe content in perfect day infringes your copyright, send us a notice and we will act on it.
We follow a notice-and-takedown process consistent with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and Canada's notice regime under the Copyright Act. To file a notice, email hello@joinperfectday.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:
When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material and make a reasonable effort to notify the person who posted it.

Where the law allows, we may restore the material after a set period unless the original complainant pursues legal action.
We will suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
perfect day uses services and technology from third parties, including our AI and hosting providers. Their intellectual property remains theirs. If you believe the app uses third-party material improperly, tell us at hello@joinperfectday.com and we will review it.
