These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Mariya Shcherbyna, operating as perfect day ("we", "us", "the app"). They govern your use of the perfect day website, mobile app, and services. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 16 years old to use perfect day, or older where your local law sets a higher age of digital consent. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate.
perfect day is a daily ritual and guided visualization app. It generates personalized scripts and audio to support reflection, focus, and relaxation. It is a wellness and self-development tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice. See Section 9.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us at hello@joinperfectday.com if you think your account has been accessed without permission. You can use some features as a guest, but an account is needed to save your work across devices.
Plain terms: perfect day is a paid subscription with a 7-day free trial. Billing is handled by Stripe. Your plan renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime, and cancellation stops the next charge.
We offer weekly, monthly, and annual plans. Before you subscribe, the app shows you the plan, the price, the billing interval, and the length of any free trial. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan begins and the first charge is taken.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan, using the payment method on file, until you cancel. We will tell you in advance of any price change, and a price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
You can cancel at any time from the billing settings in the app, through the Stripe billing portal linked there, or by emailing hello@joinperfectday.com. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
Because a free trial is offered before any charge, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where a refund is required by law, including consumer protection and distance-selling rights in your country. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will look into it.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.

Your journal entries, quiz answers, the scripts generated for you, and any voice recording you make are yours. You keep ownership of them. You grant us a limited license to store and process this content only to provide the service to you, for example to generate your script, synthesize your audio, and show your entries back to you. We do not use your personal content to train AI models. How we handle this content is set out in the Privacy Policy.
The perfect day name, logo, app, design, code, written material, and the Poppy companion are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without permission. For copyright and infringement matters, see our Intellectual Property and Copyright Policy.
perfect day relies on third-party providers, including Supabase, Stripe, Anthropic, Fish Audio, OpenAI, Resend, Railway, and Netlify. Your use of the app also involves their services, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions. The providers we use are listed on our Data Processing page.
perfect day is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
The content in perfect day is for general wellness and self-development. It is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, or professional advice, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Do not use guided audio while driving or doing anything that needs your full attention. If you have a health concern, talk to a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line. You use the app at your own discretion and are responsible for your own choices.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 Canadian dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Profile in the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we stop offering the service. Sections that by their nature should survive, including content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, continue after termination.
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will update the date above and notify active users before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of your home country, and may bring proceedings there where the law allows. We encourage you to contact us first at hello@joinperfectday.com so we can try to resolve any issue directly.
If you download perfect day from the Apple App Store, the following also applies. These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price where applicable; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.
